Marketing to Children...Too Far?

Marketing to Children According to the theory of societal marketing,  need to meet the needs and wants of customer, but in a way that will improve their well- being. Unfortunately we do not live in a perfect world; and company's only create to invest in what will turns a profit, regardless of the target market.  Imagine growing up in a world with no Ronald McDonald, P addle Pop Lion and Freddo Frog?  According to some health organisations, these cartoons are luring children to unhealthy products. Copycat Brands: Why Reinvent the Wheel.. Right?

What are CopyCat Brands?  Copycat brands imitate a brand that is in market, in terms of its appearance and packaging. It takes advantage of the 'original' brands reputation and marketing efforts (Horen & Pieters, 2012). Welcome

I have decided to start a blog to share my thoughts and ideas. I tend to have a lot of ideas and questions, and would like to share my perceptions about issues I read, think about, and/or see. Anyone born into an English speaking language, or has been involved in an English society, may have heard that philosophical question: "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" Well, I don't want to be that tree in the forest that may or many not make a sound- I want to express my ideas and thoughts with whomever want to read and think about them. I may not know or see you; but I know that someone out there, has heard my view.
